EN 17645: New European standard for comparing environmental performance in the swimming pool sector

During this session, Kurt Van Den Bremt will explain the EN 17645 standard. This standard includes a number of parameters, calculations, and labels to record the environmental performance of private swimming pools. The aim is to record environmental performance, make it measurable, and enable cross-sector comparisons. This standard should therefore contribute to energy and water savings, as well as a reduction in noise and waste. This should make it easier to compare systems and products from different manufacturers in an objective manner.

This session will also feature a presentation of BlueMatic, an open platform designed to make swimming pool installations connected, smart, and more environmentally friendly. Bluematic's connected solutions allow you to analyze, monitor, and optimize the management of your equipment and water parameters. All while delivering performance and reducing the operating costs of your swimming pool. Whichever product or range you choose, you will benefit from Bluematic's flexibility, scalability, and interchangeability. Finally, new developments in the field of heat pumps will be discussed. The latest CARE290 inverter heat pump has been developed by bluedrops' R&D Full Inverter department to get the most out of inverter technology when using a natural and ecological refrigerant, R290. Apart from the current regulations, this is a precursor to the machine of tomorrow.
