Privacy Statement
This statement is intended for customers and/or suppliers of LMCG. LMCG is the publisher of ZwembadBranche and also organizes various events and meetings, including the ZwembadBranche Congress, the ZwembadBranche Day in the Netherlands, and the PoolXpo in Belgium. This statement explains in more detail how LMCG handles the personal data you provide. "Personal data" is information that says something or could say something about a natural person. Data can quickly be classified as personal data and can become personal data when combined with other data. Examples of personal data include: name and address details, email addresses, IP addresses, and telephone numbers.
LMCG would like to draw your attention to the fact that the personal data you provide to us is collected and used because this is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
Without this information, it would be impossible to send you a quote, determine which specifications or requirements a particular service must meet, perform work, invoice, pay, and communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to perform the aforementioned activities.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the execution of the agreement, we may need to provide your personal data to parties that perform work on our behalf. We also use external server space to store (parts of) our sales and purchasing records, which include your personal data. For this reason, your personal data will be provided to our server space provider. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be passed on to the provider of this service.
Direct marketing
If you have given us your consent, we will store and use the personal data you have provided to inform you personally by email about our existing and new services in the future and to make you an offer for these services. Every time we send you a mailing, you have the option to let us know that you no longer wish to receive these mailings. To do so, click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
Retention period for personal data
- If you have not become a customer (or we have not become yours), your personal data will be deleted no later than twelve months after our last contact.
- If you have become a customer (or we have become yours), we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period during which we are required to retain our records for the tax authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right:
- to be able to view and/or obtain your own personal data
- change your own personal data (or have it changed) if it contains inaccuracies
- have your personal data deleted or its use restricted
- transferring your personal data to another party.
Unsubscribe
Would you prefer not to receive ZwembadBranche and/or mailings from us anymore? Please let us know via zwembadbranche.nl/vergeet-me. You can indicate whether you no longer wish to receive the magazine and/or newsletters. We will then remove your details from our address database and will no longer send you our magazine or email you newsletters.
Objection
You can also object to the collection and use of your data or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. To exercise your rights, please contact:
