It is with a heavy heart that we would like to inform you that we have decided to cancel the planned edition of PoolXpo on March 5. Below, we would like to explain why we have come to this decision.
In recent years, we have worked with great commitment and conviction to establish our own trade fair for the Belgian swimming pool sector. We have always done so with great pleasure, but above all with a great deal of dedication. At the same time, we have noticed that, despite all our efforts, it has become increasingly difficult to continue growing the event in a way that meets the expectations of our exhibitors.
Over the past year, we have consciously focused on strengthening our position in the Belgian market and actively sought out more Belgian companies to participate. In addition, we have tried to enter into more partnerships with stakeholders, with the aim of increasing support within the Belgian sector. Unfortunately, this has not been successful, or at least not sufficiently so, to date. We have therefore come to the conclusion that the current circumstances are not favorable enough to organize the fair at the level of quality that we strive for and that you can expect from us.
That is precisely why we have decided to take responsibility now. We do not want to burden you with a trade fair day that may not live up to your expectations. By making this decision now, we are choosing to avoid disappointment and unnecessary costs for you and to bear the consequences ourselves.
We would like to sincerely thank you for the trust you have placed in us and in this initiative over the past years, and also for this edition. We do not take that commitment lightly and greatly appreciate it.
It is unfortunate that this is how things have turned out, but we believe that this is the fairest decision for you at this time. Should a new or modified plan be introduced in the future, we will of course be happy to inform you first.
Our existing activities in the Netherlands, including the annual Swimming Pool Industry Day, will continue unchanged.
In the meantime, we would like to stay in touch.
Kind regards,
Raymond Leever & Susanne Post
